General Assembly elections results

New members from 1 September 2015
The results of the General Assembly elections have been announced.
The General Assembly is a 200-strong governance body that represents staff, students and other principal stakeholders in the University. It scrutinises the work of the Board of Governors and supports the oversight of the University's financial affairs.
The elected staff members will take their seats on the General Assembly from 1 September 2015.
They are:
- Category 11, Members elected by the Senate - Dr Shaun Speed.
- Category 12, Members elected by the staff of the University (Academic and Research) – Dr Reinmar Hager and Dr Tracey Speake
- Category 12, Members elected by the staff of the University (Academic Related) – Mrs Daniele Atkinson, Dr James Hopkins and Dr Kamie Kitmitto
- Category 12, Members elected by the staff of the University (Other) – Ms Laura Hill and Dr Pamila Sharma
Each will serve from 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2018.
