Martin Harris Centre welcomes over 500 school children to see Macbeth
31 Mar 2015
Across three days in March, more than 500 children had the opportunity to watch a live performance of Macbeth at the University’s Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama
Children from schools across the North West were entertained by Black Box Theatre in a radical reimagining of Shakespeare’s chilling tale of desire, ambition, and the supernatural.
Following each performance the children had the opportunity to attend and Q&A with the cast and directors.
This event was part of the Martin Harris Centre's curriculum based programming for school groups. Other performances in recent years include Othello, Romeo & Juliet and Of Mice and Men.
