Faculty of EPS take action on Staff Survey issues
03 Mar 2015
Since the Staff Survey in 2013 staff in EPS have been working hard to implement the changes identified following the results of the survey
The key areas of concern within EPS overall were identified as job satisfaction, communications, managers’ handling of performance and reward for exceptional performance.
Following the 2013 survey, schools were asked to complete an action plan to capture what the mains areas of change were and what actions would be taken between 2013 and the next survey in 2015. The Faculty also created an action plan for EPS as a whole. Associate Dean for Social Responsibility, Tim O’ Brien was asked to lead on collating updates on the action plans on behalf of the EPS Vice President and Dean. The concerns raised in the staff survey 2013 were also been incorporated into the EPS annual Faculty Performance Review.
Across EPS, changes as a result of the staff survey have been communicated regularly via: the PSS Team Brief, the Vice President and Dean’s Open Meetings which take place once a quarter, Beeline – the Faculty newsletter and the EPS Community Tumblr and EPS staff events. Schools also use School Board meetings, newsletters and away days to update their teams on changes.
