Elections to the General Assembly of the University

The General Assembly is a 200-strong governance body that represents staff, students and other principal stakeholders in the University
It scrutinises the work of the Board of Governors and supports the oversight of the University's financial affairs.
A number of appointments to the elected category of the General Assembly membership held by staff (full-time or part-time) with paid, superannuable appointments at the University will terminate on 31 August 2015.
Colleagues are advised that nominations are now being sought for election to the following numbers of vacancies within the electoral groups indicated:
- Academic and research staff: 2
- Academic-related (excluding research) staff: 3
- Other staff: 6
