Reclaim the Night 2015
18 Feb 2015
Come to the Reclaim the Night March (7pm) and After Party (8pm-2am) on Thursday, 26 February
Reclaim the Night March (7pm)
On Thursday, 26 February, the Reclaim the Night March will raise a collective voice against street harassment, violence against women, rape culture and victim blaming.
Starting from Owens Park, Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield, a neon parade will head down Wilmslow Road (which will be closed on the north side) towards the University of Manchester Students’ Union. The march will be led by a women’s-only block, open to all self-defining women, and followed by a mixed march open to all genders. It will end in a rally at the back of the Students’ Union building before the After Party.
Reclaim the Night After Party (8pm-2am)
The evening continues with a festival of the finest women speakers, performers and DJs at the Students’ Union Club Academy, University of Mancheser Students' Union.
This year will be bigger, brighter and louder than ever. Bring your glow sticks, bring your friends and bring your voices. Light up the city, fill it with noise.
