MUGSS present Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience
13 Feb 2015
From 18 to 21 February (at 7.30pm each night, with an additional matinee performance at 2.30pm on Saturday, 21 February)
For the first time in 28 years, Manchester Universities Gilbert and Sullivan Society presents Patience. A cracking, beautiful satire on the Aesthetic Movement of the late 1800s, Patience is emotion pumped, over-the-top and full of energy: everything you've come to expect from a MUGSS show.
Manchester Grammar School is host to this fabulous tale of poets battling for the affection of a village milkmaid. Unfortunately, they seem to have stolen the hearts of all the maidens in the village, much to the dismay of their fiancés who return home and make their disapproval known in true G&S style.
Tickets
Tickets cost £8 and £5 for concessions for all performances except the Saturday night, when they cost £10 and £8 for concessions.
