HCRI offers "Earth Week" Student Bursary

‘Earth Week’ (9-13 February 2015) is organised by the Students’ Union and takes place across campus
In celebration of Earth Week, the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) based within the School of Arts Languages and Cultures is offering University of Manchester students the chance to be awarded a full-fee bursary for a choice of one of the Institute’s MA and MSc programmes. These include MA in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response, MSc in International Disaster Management or MA in Peace and Conflict Studies. These courses are open to students from any discipline graduating with a Second Class Honours Degree. This is an offer which is only available until the end of Earth Week, so visit HCRI’s Earth Week stall to find out more about the bursary and also to hear about postgraduate careers in the humanitarian sector. (Application deadline: midnight 22 February 2015)

In addition to the student bursary, the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) will be supporting Earth Week 2015 in various ways:
HCRI will host a stall every day during Earth Week
Professor Roger Mac Ginty, Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at HCRI will deliver a free lecture on Humanitarian Day Lecture (11 February 2015) "Scoping Future Threats - The Outlook for Peace and Humanitarianism in 2050"
