Enriching the Student Experience – apply for funding for small projects
29 Jan 2015
Do you have an idea for a project that could enhance University life and the student experience? If so, we want to hear from you!
Donations to the University from alumni, staff, students and friends provide support for scholarships, research and, through the Learning Enrichment Fund, projects across campus that enhance the student experience.
In the past, these projects have ranged from laptop charging facilities in the Library to welcome packs for international students. Projects that have been supported before include:
- the PASS Scheme
- the Library
- Manchester Leadership Programme
- Manchester RAG
- Halls of Residence schemes
- Disability Support Office
- the International Society
- FUSE FM and FUSE TV
- and many others
Around £450,000 has been given out to deserving projects to date.
We are now accepting applications to the Learning Enrichment Fund for further suitable projects.
How to apply
Applications are welcome from both students and staff, so if you know anyone who may benefit from this scheme, please encourage them to apply. All application forms and guidance can be found online at:
As this funding is only made possible through the generosity of our donors, applications must follow the guidelines on this page so we can make sure we are using gifts in the best possible way.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday, 23 February. Completed application forms must be returned by this date to:
- Emma Brownlow, Division of Development and Alumni Relations, G3 Christie Building or emma.brownlow@manchester.ac.uk
