Tim Crouch: I, Malvolio
27 Jan 2015
On Wednesday 28 January at 6pm at the John Thaw Studio Theatre (Martin Harris Centre)
One of the most significant and original of contemporary British theatre-makers, Tim Crouch is author of plays including The Author and Adler and Gibb (Royal Court Theatre), and has also created a series of one-man Shakespeare adaptations aimed at young audiences (though equally riveting for adults!).
I, Malvolio sees the benighted steward from Twelfth Night railing hilariously against his abusers – i.e. you, the audience…
“A downright joyous celebration of theatre” – The Guardian *****
The performance (about an hour long) will be followed by a Q&A discussion, focusing on the question of adapting Shakespeare.
