Nominations for PSS staff in Faculties, central Professional Support Services, the Library and Cultural Institutions are invited by Monday, 9 February 2015
Following on from the news item in December, staff are reminded that the Rewarding Exceptional Performance Awards are open for nominations.
In order to streamline the process, all nominations for PSS staff within the Faculties, central Professional Support Services, the Library and Cultural Institutions will now be determined by local management panels. The process for academic and research staff will continue to be conducted by the School and Faculty Promotions Committees with timetables set locally.
Measures have also been put in place to improve the communication from panels to the line manager, who will now be responsible for giving feedback to the members of staff.
Nominations in respect of PSS staff within Faculties, central Professional Support Services, the Library and Cultural Institutions are welcomed to be received by Monday 9 February 2015.
New Guidance notes for managers/panels/employees have been produced to assist the nomination, review and appeal processes.
