Library’s Charity Christmas Fair
05 Dec 2014
Five-year grand total tops £2,000
The University of Manchester Library held its fifth annual Charity Christmas Fair – and raised more than £450 for two charities.
This year’s funds will be donated to housing and homeless charity Shelter and St Ann’s Hospice, which cares for around 3,000 cancer patients and their families and carers every year.
More than £2,000 has been raised for various charities since the first fair.
The funds were raised with the sale of homemade cakes, fudge, jams, prints, mini canvas art, a raffle and the well-loved annual Play Your Cards Right.
