02 Dec 2014
Celebrating LGBT History Month in Manchester: Thursday, 5 to Sunday, 15 February 2015
Tickets from £5 plus free events and exhibitions.
Each February, as part of LGBT History Month, Contact brings you a festival of events spanning performance genres and including both emerging artists and the best of established UK and international work. The 2015 programme is our biggest yet.
British soul sensation David McAlmont opens the festival which includes the UK premiere of 'Love is Crazy' from New York’s Justin Vivian Bond. The programme also features compelling theatre in 'Sister' from Amy and Rosana Cade, 'Big Girl’s Blouse' from Kate O’Donnell, 'Eggs Collective Get A Round', and 'Shortcutsby' Tom Marshman and Ashley Knowles.
Alternative cabaret from Mother’s Ruin; a screening of cult classic movie, 'Shortbus'; a comedy mixed bill in Comedy Playground; club nights, spoken word, debates, art, and - bigger than ever after sold out events across the North West – the return of The House of Suarez Vogue Ball.
