MBS researchers among most cited authors

A number of MBS Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIOIR) academics feature in a list of the most highly cited papers which have appeared over the past five years in the Research Policy journal

MIOIR academics regularly cited in the list include Frank Geels, Mike Hodson, Philip Shapira, Kieron Flanagan and Elvira Uyarra.

In total, Research Policy recorded 73 papers receiving at least 73 citations during the period 2009-13. It says this figure places it in top position for journals categorised under ‘Entrepreneurship & Innovation’, and third for those categorised under‘Social Sciences’.
