Construction of hotel and MBS executive education centre begins

Work begins on the construction of the MBS hotel and Executive Education centre on the flat surface car park opposite the entrance to MBS West on Monday, 10 November

Access to the multi-storey car park on Booth Street West will not be affected and the first few weeks of the work will be mainly around setting up the construction site.  Updates on any likely disruption from this work will be provided on a regular basis as the hotel and Executive Education centre are due to take two years to complete.

Some preparatory work will also be starting on the School redevelopment project during November, with various site surveys being carried out as well as work stripping out the units in the Precinct Centre.  Again disruption will be minimal and MBS buildings will remain accessible via the normal entrance and exit points, although some access routes to the Precinct Centre will be affected later in the month and we will update you with the details as soon as possible.
