Central Procurement Office makes charity pledge

For every 12 people who attend the eMarketplace supplier exhibition on 30 October, the Procurement Office will donate one hour of community work

The Central Procurement Office has organised an eMarketplace supplier exhibition on 30 October 2014.

In line with the exhibition's theme, ‘Working together’, the office is planning to support the Universities ‘give and gain’ initiative, promoted by the Business in the Community organisation.

For every member of University staff who attends the Supplier Exhibition, staff in the Central Procurement Office will undertake a minimum of five minutes of community work to support the University’s social agenda.

So for every 12 people who attend the exhibition, the Procurement Office will donate one hour.

Our last event had over 200 University staff visitors, which would have equated to over 16 hours of donated time.
