Many of you will now be planning your Christmas shopping and will be looking to get the right gifts for your family and friends at the best price. The University has negotiated many local discounts for you and also provides you with free access to Perkz which offers a great range of discounts on everyday essentials like the weekly supermarket shop, right through to luxury purchases like holidays and new cars. The latest Perkz leaflet is being distributed across campus in the next week giving you more information and the access code. More details are also available on the Perkz page.

Ideal Home prize draw giveaway
We have 200 tickets to giveaway to staff for the Ideal Home Exhibition at Christmas which is taking place at Event City, Manchester on 14-16 November. With over 300 exhibitors across 7 sections including: Interiors & Home Accessories sponsored by Thomas Sanderson, Food & Drink sponsored by Regina, Home Improvements & Outdoor Living sponsored by Hydropool , Fashion & Beauty, Technology & Gadgets, Gifts and Decorations - you'll find all you need to make your Christmas truly special! Cyclescheme – Go Green and get fitter
Our Cycle to Work Scheme continues to be extremely popular and is one of the measures to encourage healthy living and promote sustainable travel. The scheme enables you to save money on the purchase of bikes and accessories but also on just safety equipment only. Find out more on the Cycle to Work page.
Travel
The Travel Club is a member’s only club powered by Flight Centre. Their latest Deal of the Fortnight for you is Mexico at the 4* Occidental Grand Xcaret. This is available until 31 October!
Sharing benefits
The continued support and feedback from you is always appreciated. We are now trying to ensure that leaflets and posters are available across all campus buildings for the range of staff benefits and discounts. If you have a reception area (or staff noticeboard) which would be appropriate for spreading awareness of benefits such as Perkz, Cyclescheme, Kiddivouchers and Simplyhealth then please email staffbenefits@manchester.ac.uk and we can send you the relevant materials. We are particularly keen to share information in areas where staff have no PC access.
