Improving your network storage
10 Oct 2014
Short period of downtime on Saturday 25 October
Work is scheduled on the University’s network storage, Isilon, on Saturday 25 October – Sunday 26 October to increase capacity and performance for University staff and students, which will meet the growing demand and the known requirements for the next 12 months.
To achieve this, some disruption will occur on Saturday 25 October: 8am – 8.15am (Note: A small number of people may experience intermittent disruption until we have completed the work at 1pm).
Work continues on Sunday 26 October: 9.30am – 5pm, but we do not expect any disruption.
The following services should be considered ‘at risk’ on both days.
- Personal File storage (P: Drives)
- Managed desktop computers
- Video Library Service

- Library Digitisation Project
- Electronic Software Delivery System (ESDS)
