Free contact lens fittings, trials and check-ups
30 Sep 2014
All contact lens wearers and those wishing to try contact lenses for the first time are welcome at the Optometry Teaching Clinics
Students in the final year of their optometry degree provide a clinical service to members of the public as part of their training. During these clinical sessions, the students are supervised by a fully-qualified optometrist staff member.
As an incentive for patients to attend the contact lens clinic (and therefore, provide clinical experience for the students) we offer free contact lens fittings, trials and check-ups for all staff, students and members of the general public (16 years of age and over). We stock a wide range of contact lenses from all the main contact lens manufacturers including daily disposable, monthly disposable, coloured, toric, rigid and bifocal.
If you would like to attend the clinic either for new contact lenses or for continuing contact lens aftercare (check-ups), please telephone on 0161 306 3860 or 0161 275 5354. The clinic is situated in the Carys Bannister Building, just off Dover Street.
