Meet the Good Neighbours Team at their Macmillan Coffee Morning
16 Sep 2014
Come along on 26 September to find out how the team is working to improve local communities for residents and students alike - and how you get involved
The Good Neighbours Team at Manchester Student Homes (MSH) works closely with the universities, residents, students, and partnership organisations such as Manchester City Council, as well as Greater Manchester Police. They are now at the forefront of community engagement across off-campus communities in Manchester.
Their Halls to Home campaign is a project designed to help students in their transition from halls of residences to off-campus accommodation. This work will involve trying to improve student engagement with the local community and to raise student awareness of how to be a good neighbour.
The Good Neighbours Team is always looking for more ways to engage more with communities in the area, so if you have any up-coming community meetings or local issues they should know about, please get in touch so they can discuss these further, as well as giving them a chance to discuss the projects on which they are currently working.
You can find out more about their work at their MacMillan Coffee Morning on Friday, 26 September (11am) at Manchester Student Homes, Unit 1-3, Ladybarn House, Moseley Road, Fallowfield, M14 6ND.
