Wednesday 10 September, 12-1pm, in the Jean McFarlane Building

Dementia Friends is one of the University's Social Responsibility flagship programmes. Raising awareness of dementia is one very small step that we can all take to make a difference.
Simon Burrow, from the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, will be delivering a Dementia Friends training session at the Jean McFarlane Building on Wednesday 10 September, from 12-1pm.
The session which will last about 45 minutes will look at various aspects of dementia, how individuals can recognise signs of dementia and offer support and understanding.
By attending a short training course and raising awareness with friends, family and colleagues, you can make a difference to lives of people living with dementia.
- If you would like to attend please email simon.burrow@manchester.ac.uk. Places are limited and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
