September’s Cycle to Work – Better By Cycle!

Wednesday, 3 September sees the University hosting the regular Cycle to Work event, where cyclists can catch up on the latest news, show their support for continued investment in infrastructure and enjoy a small snack
All staff cyclists and people who are thinking about cycling are invited to come along, join in and find out more. We shall be in Eats Restaurant, University Place, from 8.15 until 9am.

We will also have security marking of bicycles outside University Place from 8.30 until 9.30am.
September also sees the “Better By Cycle Challenge”, organised by Transport for Greater Manchester. This aims to get more people giving cycling a go. The University is entering and we are encouraging people to sign up and log their rides. The institutions with the highest cycling rates will win some exciting prizes for their members.
