Published twice a year, the Review is an online literary journal that brings together the best of new international writing.
The Review is produced by the University’s Centre for New Writing (home to Professor of Creative Writing, Jeanette Winterson) and is edited by the Centre’s co-directors John McAuliffe and Ian McGuire, and fiction writer and PhD student Valerie O’Riordan.
Issue 12 features a blend of top quality work from new and established poets and fiction writers, including wonderful new stories and poems from James Robison, Ian Pople, Thomas McCarthy, Gerard Fanning and Rebecca Perry. In addition, the journal also welcomes work from a number of new contributors who have not previously appeared in the Review.
Jan Wagner, Peter Fallon, Igor Klikovac and Theodore Worozbyt all contribute poetry alongside fiction by authors Jane Feaver and Martin Monahan.
Australian author Christos Tsiolkas, author of "The Slap", which won the Commonwealth Prize for Literature in 2009 contributes to this issue. He is joined by British author Helen Cross, whose first novel "My Summer of Love", won a Betty Trask Award and became a BAFTA award winning feature film.
