Here's a sporting chance at saving money - and having fun!
Cycle to work scheme
For cycling fans who will no doubt be cheering the Tour de France riders along Stages 1 and 2 of the route this weekend, did you know that the University has a Cycle to Work scheme. This enables you to save money on the purchase of bikes and accessories and since June 2013 just safety equipment only. The Directorate of Estates also has a cycling page which includes information on the University’s Bike User Group (UMBUG) and on-campus shower locations.
Fitness
If the summer of sport and the forthcoming Commonwealth Games are inspiring you to become fitter why not check out the health discounts on StaffNet which include the University gym at The Sugden Sports Centre and on-site massage and physiotherapy.
