Sustainability in the Curriculum meeting

11 Jun 2014

On Wednesday, 18th June (2pm to 4pm ) in Samuel Alexander Building, Room A102

Phrases such as ‘The Circular Economy’, ‘creating shared value’, ‘social responsibility’ and ‘negative externalities’ reflect growing company/organisational concerns around socio-environmental issues.

In our next Sustainability in the Curriculum meeting we will explore the understandings and skills graduates need to make effective contributions to sustainability agendas in companies/organisations, how the academic community can help students develop these understandings and skills and how the importance of such understandings and skills can be conveyed to students.

You are warmly invited to the meeting, along with any students you feel may wish to contribute to the discussion. If there are specific understandings and skills that you feel need to be developed you will have opportunities to talk about these at the meeting. All ideas will be collated and represented in a compilation of ‘graduate skills and understandings for sustainability’.
