Big Saturday: Parklife

A day of discovery for all the family. Inspired by our new temporary exhibition, Whitworth Park: Pleasure, Play & Politics, come to this month’s Big Saturday: Parklife to find out more about archaeology, get some hands-on archaeological experience and see how and what archaeology can tell us about the past. The exhibition explores how the role of Manchester’s Whitworth Park has changed over time and the important role that the park has played for the local community over the years.
