Transitions - support for our graduates of 2014

The Careers Service is looking for staff volunteers to help and support recent graduates take their next steps into the world of work
The programme, organised by the Careers Service, offers help and support to our most recent graduates (summer 2014) who are unsure as to what their next steps should be as they enter the job market.
The Careers Service is looking for volunteers (both academic and non-academic) to work with 2014 graduates on a one-to-one basis as a Careers Supporter. You will not be expected to act as a careers adviser, just lend a supportive and encouraging ear and help them identify and work towards their goals.
Graduates taking part in the programme will either have yet to secure employment, or be about to start a non-graduate level job.
The programme runs from July 2014 to February 2015 and is a rewarding way of continuing to help our students make the transition from university to a successful career.
