16 Jun 2014
More places now available for this popular training course!
STDU have added new dates to the Coaching for Managers course that we run. This two day course is designed to encourage a coaching management style within the University by developing and enhancing managers’ skills in this area.
A coaching style of management aims to:
- support staff to resolve their own issues and dilemmas;
- develop problem solving skills in others;
- empower staff at all levels to become more responsible within their roles.
The course considers the skills needed to perform effectively as coaches and highlights both the formal and opportunistic situations in which a coaching style can be used.
This course is for managers at all levels who have direct line management responsibilities.
