Troubleshooting international trade: Lord Digby Jones to speak at MBS

Businessman and politician, Lord Digby Jones, is set to speak at Manchester Business School on 7 July as part of our annual lecture series, conducted in partnership with RBS
The event will take place from 6pm -8pm on Monday, 7 July 2014 at Manchester Business School.
With international expansion and trade a key business driver of the UK economy, Lord Digby Jones will discuss the changing global landscape, explore where commercial opportunities are strongest and look at lessons learned from organisations leading the way.
Lord Jones is Chairman for both Triumph Motorcycles and Grove Industries, as well as Corporate Ambassador for Jaguar Cars and a member of the Major Projects All Party Group. In 2000, he joined the CBI and began to champion his ideas on socially inclusive wealth creation. He was knighted for his services to business in 2005 and became Sir Digby Jones in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List. He also served as Minister of State for Trade and Investment from 2007 to 2008 and is currently presenting BBC’s The Troubleshooter.
As Lord Digby Jones’ speech comes to a close he will be joined by a panel of experts, including Russ Grazier Regional Director at RBS, alongside a panellist from MBS’ international trade team. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to put questions to the speaker and panel.
