There are so many ways you can save money as a member of staff of the University.

Our third party discount provider Perkz  offers you a great range of discounts on everything from everyday essentials like the weekly supermarket shop, right through to luxury purchases like holidays and new cars.

• Reloadable supermarket cards with Asda, Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury on average can save you £500 per year on your groceries.
• Holiday savings with leading companies such as Cosmos, STA, P&O Ferries & Hotelopia.
• Lots of “green” offers such as Nigel’s Eco Store providing the best, innovative energy saving products and eco gifts direct to your door.

We have a great range of locally negotiated discounts for you such as Cottages4u, Hoseasons, Chill Factore and local gyms and restaurants. There is something for everybody!

On campus you you can receive discounts at Chancellors Restaurant and Café Rylands as well as saving money shopping at Whitworth Art Gallery and Manchester Museum.

You are now eligible to purchase an NUS Extra Card. The card entitles you to 12 months of fabulous savings from major retailers such as Amazon, Co-operative food stores, Spotify, Accessorize, Coast, Superdrug, Apple, ASOS, Easyjet, rail travel, Odeon cinemas  and many more!

You can choose an NUS Extra card that lasts for one year (£12), two years (£22) or three years (£32). Alternatively you could opt for the ISIC (International Student Identity Card). This lasts for 1 year and costs £14.99.
