First live ‘President’s Question Time’ takes place next week
27 Mar 2014
Live broadcast as President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Nancy Rothwell and Senior Leadership Team answer your queries
The first ever ‘President’s Question Time’ will be held on Tuesday (1 April).
The event – in which President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Nancy Rothwell and the Senior Leadership Team will answer questions from an audience made up of staff from across the campus and other queries voted for by colleagues in an online poll – will be broadcast live.
It is being held in response to the Staff Survey 2013, which revealed that almost half of you who responded would like more opportunities to feed your views upwards to the University's Senior Leadership Team. You also said you'd like the Senior Leadership Team to listen more and respond to your questions.
The President will be joined by Karen Heaton, Director of Human Resources; Steve Mole, Director of Finance; and Professor Martin Humphries, Staff Survey Steering Group Chair.
A great response to the online poll for staff saw three topics chosen for discussion:
- Staff career development
- University's financial situation
- Staff Survey (Behaviours, Leadership, PDR, Reward and Recognition)
The President's Question Time event will be broadcast live via StaffNet from 12.30pm to 1pm on Tuesday 1 April.
It is also being filmed and made available to watch on StaffNet and eUpdate on Thursday 3 April.
