Podcasting: private conversations
14 Mar 2014
Awareness of how to prevent private conversations from being picked up on the Podcasting system.
The Podcasting system is driven by the timetable, turning on automatically on the hour and stopping the recording five minutes before the end of the scheduled lecture. If you need to have a private conversation please be sure to step away from the lectern or front of the lecture theatre where other recording microphones are located.
If you think the microphones may have picked up a confidential conversation please get in touch with media.technologies@manchester.ac.uk as soon as possible with details of the time, date, location and subject of the lecture so that it can be removed from the Podcasting site.
Alternatively follow the instruction on this a basic editing feature which will allow you to set recordings not to be immediately release to students or remove the start and end of your lecture recording.
