Some staff and students have reported they are having issues connecting their laptops, smartphones or tablets to the University‘s wireless network, which may include wireless clients disconnecting for a few minutes.
Working with the supplier we made some changes at 8.30am yesterday (Thursday) morning to help resolve the problem but if you are still being affected by interruptions to your normal wireless connection please let us know.
Information you provide can help us speed up the investigation, so please let us know if you are being affected by this, even if the interruptions are only happening for a minute or two before fixing themselves.
We appreciate it may seem like we’re asking for a lot of details, but the more information we can gather, the better equipped we are to fix this problem quickly and make sure that our wireless service is once again stable and consistent for all University staff and students.
