Support for staff with mental health problems
11 Mar 2014
Complete this anonymous survey by 21 March to help University benchmark its practice
The University recognises that our best asset is our staff, and therefore we need to ensure that our staff are valued, motivated and supported.
This is why we are conducting an all staff survey which will allow us to benchmark our policies and procedures against the actual practices and cultures within the University regarding mental health. An external organisation, Time to Change, will conduct the survey and produce a report for the University.
One in six British workers are currently experiencing stress, anxiety or depression and one in four people experience mental health problems in any given year. So it’s important to ensure that we have policies and procedures in place which promote a healthy working environment for all staff and enable staff with mental health problems to continue in work and reach their potential.
By completing this anonymous survey – which takes just 7 minutes to complete – you can help shape the University in terms of its inclusivity and support mechanisms for people with mental health problems. The survey is suitable for completion by all staff at any level, with or without a mental health problem.
The completely confidential survey is hosted on an external server that cannot be accessed by the University. It will not ask you for your name and will not disclose anyone’s identity at any time.
