Manchester-Melbourne engagement grants
27 Feb 2014
Grants are available in 2014 to support staff visits to the University of Melbourne to develop and strengthen ties in teaching and learning and research.
The President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, has accepted an invitation from the University of Melbourne to deliver the 2014 Menzies Oration.
In light of this announcement, and to strengthen collaboration between the two universities, the Vice-Chancellors of the two universities have together agreed to establish a staff exchange program covering both academic and professional staff.
Up to ten grants in 2014 will be available to support Manchester staff to undertake short-term visits to the University of Melbourne to develop and strengthen ties in teaching and learning and research, and to develop closer professional staff ties. Similar visits to Manchester will be undertaken by staff from Melbourne.
