Statement regarding the IT connectivity issues of 13 and 14 January

Thanks for patience and feedback
As you may be aware, the University’s storage system experienced an interruption on the mornings of 13 and 14 January, which affected availability of storage space, performance of a number of desktop PCs and the running of some PC based exams. A working solution was identified and applied and there were no further problems or impacts on these services.
Following two weeks of activity without issue we are now drawing that incident to a close and would like to thank everyone for their input and feedback and their patience whilst we resolved the situation.
