There is currently an issue with saving default settings for Turnitin assignment creation. The option to ‘Reveal grades to students only on post date?’ is defaulting to ‘No’ even if you try to change it which could result in marks being accidently released to students. When creating new assignments, you must check that this setting is appropriate to your needs. This issue may also have affected assignments that have already been created, so any recently created assignments should have their settings double-checked to prevent the accidental release of marks.
Digital Receipts from Turnitin not received or incomplete
There is an issue with Turnitin receipts which are either not being received by students or are incomplete after successful submission. This only applies to submissions on or after 23 January 2014.
Turnitin apologise for any inconvenience and inform us that their engineers are urgently investigating the issue. Please inform your students via Blackboard.
