Students' Union are looking for staff to get involved with Earth Week
21 Jan 2014
Earth Week is an exciting project being run by the Students' Union to engage students with the big issues that our planet and society faces in the near future.
Starting on 10 February, the week covers a range of topics: Monday is dedicated to the theme of food, Tuesday to global and local inequalities, Wednesday to sustainable living, Thursday to energy and Friday to global warming and consumption.
As part of the event the Atrium in University Place will be used each day for a series of exhibitions - from 10 to 14 February (10am–2pm). It’s a fantastic opportunity for staff and researchers to engage with students on the big issues that so many academics are involved with. So, why not get involved?
If you have an idea for an interactive display or know somebody who might, please request an exhibiton form by email from:
Please submit the form by 24 January 2014.
