Update on this morning's IT tests, in relation to the storage issues

Tests completed as expected, with no impact on any supported services.

Further to yesterday’s update from the Director of IT regarding the ongoing exploration of the storage connectivity issues from earlier in the week, we can confirm that this morning’s investigative tests went ahead as planned.

The tests were completed as expected, with no impact on any of the supported services. We were able to replicate the causes, which supports our theory of what the underlying issue may be.

PC-based examinations are to continue as planned next week; however because of today’s test results and the information gathered earlier in the week, examinations will be running without the other background process (which appears to be triggering the problem to occur).
