15 Jan 2014
Free cross-Faculty event on Wednesday, 19 February 2014 (1-3pm) in the Sackville Street Building.
The flipped classroom as a concept has been around for a while, but it is becoming increasingly easy to implement with the advent of new technologies.
Register for our flipped classroom event, to be held on Wednesday afternoon, and you can find out:
- What the students think
- How tutors facilitate in flipped sessions
- How you can set up a structure that works for flipped teaching
- How technology can support the process in your discipline
Patrick O'Malley (Academic Lead for eLearning, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences) will be introducing the event, which will provide an overview of how Flipped Classroom approaches are being used across a variety of disciplines. The presenters will each outline their own perspectives on the applications of Flipped Classroom, and discuss the different delivery and assessment processes.
