If so then you may wish to attend the 'Intro to Teaching and Learning' course which will be taking place Friday 24 January, 9.30am - 4pm, STDU Training Suite, Humanities Bridgeford Street

The course is intended for staff who are new to teaching and is suitable for staff who are either waiting to attend the New Academics Programme or for whom the latter is not appropriate - for example staff on short contracts or Contract Research Staff.

The course provides an introduction to student learning and good practice in lecturing, teaching small groups of students and assessment techniques and approaches.
