Places available on Manchester IMPROVE General Awareness Session on 6 March

The aim of the course is to provide staff at any level within the organisation with an understanding of the Manchester IMPROVE methodology and the importance of continuous improvement.
By the end of the session, attendees will:
- Have an awareness of Manchester IMPROVE methodology.
- Understand the importance of Manchester IMPROVE in relation to the University’s 2020 vision.
- Be able to define a process.
- Understand the importance of data when analysing / assessing / understanding process performance.
- Be able to plot a simple flowchart for a process in their own area of work, identifying resources, steps, stages and issues.
- Be able to identify waste within their process using DOWNTIMES.
- Understand and be able to use the 5S technique.
The next session will be held from 9.30am to 12.30pm in Training Room 3, STDU, Humanites Bridgeford Street.
