Meeting of German academics

The University will be hosting a meeting of German academics from the North of England on Wednesday, 27 November.

The event is organised by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD in collaboration with the School of Physics and Astronomy.

There will be a general discussion with representatives of the culture department of the German Embassy and DAAD at 5 pm, followed by a reading by author Miranda Seymour from her book "Noble Endeavours: The Life of Two Countries, England and Germany, in Many Stories" at 6 pm.

The event will be held in the Rutherford Lecture Theatre in the Schuster Building.
