Request for witness to mobile phone theft to come forward

At 12 noon on Saturday, 16 November 2013, a mobile phone was snatched from the hand of a female on Oxford Road near Burlington Street.

The theft was witnessed by two members of the public, who raised the alarm with University Security.

After a chase, the thief was detained and the stolen phone recovered. It was returned to the owner, who was not identified but believed to be of Chinese origin.
