Limited places left on November Learn to Ride Sessions

The University is playing host to Learn to Ride sessions on 30 November at 10am and 1pm but there are a limited number of places left, so book now to avoid disappointment!
The Learn to Ride course is a bike riding starter for beginners – you’ll learn the basics of getting on a bike and controlling it, and gain the confidence to ride on a road on your own. The course takes place with a qualified instructor in a safe, off-road environment and lasts around two hours.
The course will cover:
- Getting on your bike, balancing and getting off again
- Starting and stopping
- Using the bike’s gears
- How to look, signal and turn
- Steering your bike and stopping quickly if you need to
- Pre-ride bike checks
Bikes and helmets will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Please note that these courses are only open to adults (16+).
