Tony bristles up for Movember
31 Oct 2013
IT Support Analyst Tony Hulme is taking part in the annual fundraising event Movember, where participants refrain from shaving and grow a moustache for a month.
Tony previously took up the challenge last year, when he raised £150 for The Christie Hospital – this year he’s fundraising for The Little Princess Trust, who provide real-hair wigs to boys and girls that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or illness.
Tony says: “I found out about the charity from my wife – her friend knows someone whose child had cancer and she was given a wig from The Little Princess Trust. It really meant a lot to the family at what was a very difficult time. So I thought I’d try and help with some fundraising – as I don’t have any hair to donate!”
Tony is pictured ‘before’ and he’ll be regularly uploading photos to his JustGiving page during the month. If you’d like to sponsor Tony, please visit:
