Working with Students Network
29 Oct 2013
The new Working with Students Network launches on Tuesday, 26 November (10am-12pm) at Crawford House building, 5th floor training room.
The network is targeted at all University of Manchester support staff members working in student-facing and frontline roles, from security staff to those based at reception desks, who would like to share their ideas, experiences, concerns and learn more about topics from different areas of the University. It’s also a chance to meet colleagues from a wide variety of teams and academic Schools.
The focus of the first network is how we communicate with current students, and the session is being hosted by the Student Communications and Marketing Team in the Directorate for the Student Experience.
The network will include a presentation about central student communications and the Student Communications and Marketing team, and two discussion exercises which will look at successes, challenges and ideas around communicating with students. There will also be time for meeting other staff members over tea/coffee and cake.
