Applications are invited by 12 noon on 23 October in response to the fourth call for proposals for funding from the EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account
EPSRC has awarded The University of Manchester over £3.2M to deliver an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) following the successful conclusion of its Knowledge Transfer Account (KTA).
Running from 2012 to 2015, the £3.2M IAA will aim to ensure that the University fulfills its strategic Knowledge Exchange objectives in the domains covered by EPSRC research.
The University’s IAA Operations Board is pleased to announce the fourth call for proposals for funding under the following mechanisms:
- Relationship Incubator Scheme – To develop early stage contact and strategic alignment between business and academics
- Concept Development and Feasibility Study Scheme – To bridge the gap in support for early stage commercialisation of ideas
- Exploitation Secondment Scheme - To increase the exchange of knowledge through mobility of people between the university and user organisations
The closing date for applications to this fourth call is 23 October 2013, 12 noon.
