UG and PGT student email accounts moving to Office 365 service
Between 2-5 August, IT Services will be working with Microsoft to transfer UG and PGT student email accounts to the Office 365 service which will bring with it some new features and benefits.
How will this affect our students? The impact for our students during the changeover will be minimal; however we’ve prepared an FAQ document: Student email migration to Office 365 – Your questions answered to outline:
- The migration process and why this is happening;
- The benefits of the new service;
- What students will experience in terms of accessing their email during the migration period.
A similar FAQ document has also been produced for students themselves. Additionally, updated information and alternative email links will also appear on My Manchester throughout the changeover, to ensure that students experience very little disruption during this period.
