University staff ‘Family Open Day’ at Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre

Come along on Saturday 14 September and visit the Discovery Centre free of charge
If you’re a member of staff here at the University, you and up to three family members can enjoy the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre, free of charge, at a special open day being held in September.
You’ll have the chance to learn about the Universe in the interactive exhibits, explore the Galaxy Garden or take an adventure on the Planet Path trail.
There will be science shows running at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm and a ‘Meet the Scientist’ at 1.30pm.

Terms and Conditions
- Staff must show a valid University staff card at reception to gain free entry.
- Each staff member can bring up to three family members.
- Places on the science shows are limited to 130 per show and places must be booked in advance by calling the Discovery Centre on 01477 571 766. Places will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
