askHR: for instant answers to your HR-related queries

Do you have any queries on HR-related matters, such as terms and conditions, pay, benefits, pensions, policies, equality and diversity, recruitment or training?

Your first port of call should be askHR, the online resource where you can find the majority of answers to basic HR questions, including:

• What are the University pay scales?
• Am I entitled to Maternity Leave?
• What is my holiday entitlement?
• I want to advertise a vacancy, what do I do?

For all the advice you need, just access askHR in one of two ways:

• From the banner on the StaffNet homepage
  or
• Via the Employment website

Enter your question in the search box and submit it (or use the advanced search option). A list of related questions will then appear, from which you should select the one closest to your own query for an answer. You'll have the option of indicating whether or not the answer provides the information you were looking for and of printing it out.
